About BallerIndex
We measure. We don’t guess.
BallerIndex was founded in Leeds in 2025 with one conviction: a child’s football development deserves evidence, not opinion. Most youth assessment is a coach’s eye on one session, remembered imperfectly and compared to nothing. We built a system that captures a drill on a phone, measures the movement with computer vision, and hands the result to a verified coach to validate before a single word reaches a parent.
Every BallerCard and Performance Report says only what the footage supports. When a capture can’t be measured, we say so — and tell the player exactly how to unlock it next time. No invented scores. No ranking children against each other. One measured snapshot, from one drill, on one day — and a record that grows with them.
Built with the people who develop players.
BallerIndex is developed alongside professional coaches, academy staff and the families who use it every week — including coaches who have played and won at the highest level of the English game. Every measurement is designed with them, tested on real sessions and validated by verified coaches before it reaches a card. We work with academies seeking accreditation, scouts who want evidence rather than hearsay, and parents who want to see the reasoning behind every piece of feedback their child receives.
From our base in Leeds, we’re building the standard for youth football measurement — in the UK directly, and globally through partner-led programmes powered by BallerIndex. Academies, federations and coaching networks can run their own player development on our platform, with every measurement verifiable and every result collected over a player’s whole journey. If you coach, run an academy, scout, or are a parent who wants the evidence — join us.
